I sent my application myself via mail with a normal processing time. I had a current passport card but needed my passport book since I will be traveling international. I sent it priority shipping on April 14, 2022 and it arrived on April 16, 2022. I received an update several weeks later on the state website. Showing Processing and a 2 weeks later approved and a week later showing it would be shipped. I requested 1-2 shipment back in case of a delay. So about 7 weeks today from Shipping on my own and delivery to my home.

The initial status on 06/03 said the application was approved and that it was being mailed and also had the tracking number, which I saved. Later on, it just said that the application was approved and the passport was being printed. So whenever you get the tracking number on the status, save it.
The status said I should receive the passport by 06/08 but I received it a few days after 06/03.
