My husband’s application was the first status to change to “in process”, then my sons (his went from in process to approved and we received a tracking number), mine never changed from not available. The only stressful part was the waiting game as we had international flights booked for 3/3.

Husband and I applied at the same time, with our documents in separate envelopes as advised, but within the same package. Took 10 1/2 weeks from mailing the applications to receiving both passports today. It was somewhat stressful because when we applied they were stating 6-9 weeks for Routine processing, and ours dragged out beyond that. But with no travel plans in our immediate future, the time it took didn’t actually matter, except mentally, ha!
