I filled out the application online and submitted it and all respective documentation at my local post office. I paid for the expedited processing and expedited return mail service. One thing to note is that my status online always showed as “Not Available” and even as I hold the passport in my hand it still shows as “Not Available “. The only indicator the processing agency received my documentation was the processing of the check, which occurred 2 days after I submitted everything at the post office

so ….. i applied at my local post office on November 18,2022. PASSPORT AGENCY received it on November 22 and on December 23 it was approved and i received it on December 28. The whole process was very simple, the only thing that had me anxious was the waiting.
