Upon mailing in paper package in July 2023, US State Dept website stated “normal” time is 10-13 weeks and it came in 7 weeks, so overall = very quick renewal.

Very bad experience. There is no one you can directly talk to at any agencies . Call the number they supply had to wait two hours to tell me there’s nothing they can do.. so-called congressman he got a hold of them so they try to contact me about a form that wasn’t signed. I never phone call email or anything in the mail
After the congressman spoke to them I received a form in the mail on letter was dated July 7 was mailed July 28 to me. So it was setting on someones desk. So I missed my family vacation to Cabo because of somebody being careless about paperwork. And I did sign the first form that they say was not signed. I suppose so they could have an excuse, So sad

Well, I was very naive to trust in accuracy of expected deadlines and time frames. All summer plans are ruined. And the worst thing is that you are totally alone in this situation, because nobody is in charge of it. That was a weird experience. Has to be easy and pleasant and happy process but was spoiled by 8 months of waiting and feeling totally lost
