Applied on Feb 4 routine service. At the time processing said 8 to 10 weeks. That changed to 10 to 12 weeks so I called and paid to expedite on March 28th with priority mail. Received April 8.

Was a no charge name change application. Initially submitted routine on 02/27, changed to “In Process” on 03/17 at locator 35. Called to expedite and add next day shipping on 03/27, card was not charged for expedite until 9:00pm on 04/06. By 8:00am on 04/07 it was approved and shipped by 11:00am that same day. Received on 04/10 via UPS.

Sent in my old passport on 2/28/2023 using certified mail. The passport was received 2 days later but didn’t appear in the agency’s computer until March 6, 2023. The check was cashed on 3/7/23. The application was in process until April 7 when it showed approval. The passport was shipped on 4/10 and I got it on 4/11/2023
