Unacceptably stressful. Simple Renewal. Submitted online and it was received 01/11/2023. Status remained as “Received” for 11 weeks and 2 days. Status changed to “In Process” on 3/31/2023. I have paid a non-refundable travel price of over $32,000 for a Mediterranean Cruise, which is now 7 week from now. Contacted my Senator, but his staffer can not assist until I am within 2 weeks of travel date. Currently am at my “wits end”. Just praying I will receive in time. I paid for upgraded delivery after original application.

I submitted my passport renewal application on-line on 12/22/2022 under regular processing. I then converted it to expedited processing on 02/14/2023. I still haven’t received my passport. Is there any consumer complaint agency/ombudsman that I can complain to, as I am well past the published processing times even for regular processing. The customer service number is useless because it is answered by a bot.
