Submitting the renewal online was a breeze. but my online renewal stayed in “Received” status for 10 weeks. I tried several ways to contact them to see if anybody was working on it or it had fallen into a black hole. At 10 weeks I finally contacted my Congress person. The very next morning it went to “In Process” and was shipped on 3/28/23. I received it today. If the online method had better communication set up it would not have been stressful at all.

Sent my expedited renewal in on Feb 28, the agency didn’t get it until March 3rd. I knew it was going to be close, but I took my chances. My son got his on 3 weeks from January to February. My travel date is April 8. I called this past Monday, at 8 AM March 27 because I was inside the 14 day window. I finally got connected after about 10 tries. After being on hold for 90 minutes (the waiting time they gave me throughout the call was accurate), the agent took my travel date, told me she notified the agency and to call back April 3 (!) if I didn’t see anything change by then. The agent was calm and kind, but it was short and simple – I was nervous! I got my my passport 4 days later! 🙂 I am of course very pleased and thankful!

1st time applicant for both children, sent in on 2/7/23. No updates for weeks. Noticed our checks were cashed on 2/14/23. Finally said they received the application on 3/4/23 at the agency. So not sure what happened over the last 3 weeks from the time our checks were cashed to them receiving the application. With expedited it finally said they were mailed on 3/27/23. Ruined our spring break plans for sure.
