Submitting the renewal online was a breeze. but my online renewal stayed in “Received” status for 10 weeks. I tried several ways to contact them to see if anybody was working on it or it had fallen into a black hole. At 10 weeks I finally contacted my Congress person. The very next morning it went to “In Process” and was shipped on 3/28/23. I received it today. If the online method had better communication set up it would not have been stressful at all.

Submitted paper renewal application (not expedited) at post office January 26, noting mid-April travel plans; application marked received February 3 and assigned a New Orleans tracking number; passport sent via priority mail March 25 by Arkansas office; received March 30 (exactly nine weeks after application submission and about eight weeks after application was marked received).

1st time applicant for both children, sent in on 2/7/23. No updates for weeks. Noticed our checks were cashed on 2/14/23. Finally said they received the application on 3/4/23 at the agency. So not sure what happened over the last 3 weeks from the time our checks were cashed to them receiving the application. With expedited it finally said they were mailed on 3/27/23. Ruined our spring break plans for sure.
